Kay booked my senior move manager service. Kay has a busy life, being a local Neighbourhood Street Coordinator. She was also the President of the Auckland East Rotary Club and was working part-time.
After seeing a post on the local Facebook page advertising Move by Design’s services, Kay decided that for her upcoming house move, she would benefit from some professional help with packing and unpacking her household items.
After visiting her home, I estimated that it would take one day to help Kay achieve her aim to be ready for the movers on move day.
Kay and I worked together packing her precious family photos, her art, bedding and guest living area items. We worked at pace stopping for a break and a chinwag. During our conversations we realised our family members knew each other!
The day after moving day I went early to Kay’s to help her unpack and organise her kitchen. We achieved this and broke the back of the remainder of the unpacking in a 4 hour session.
